10 episodes & free webinar
Hi everyone!
I figure it’s time for a check-in 😊
Podcast: Since this summer, I’ve posted ten episodes of the Library Social Work Podcast, and I’ve already got another 7-8 conversations recorded. It’s been such a rewarding journey so far, and I’m excited to keep the momentum going and share more episodes with you all!
If you’ve been listening in, thank you so much for your support—it truly means a lot to me. I’ve had the privilege of chatting with some incredible guests who are doing amazing work at the intersection of social work and libraries, and I’m constantly learning something new from each conversation. The diversity of experiences and perspectives has been one of the most exciting parts of this journey.
Also, if you have any feedback, ideas, or topics you’d love to see covered on the podcast, don’t hesitate to drop me a message or leave a comment. I’m always open to hearing from you and would love to know what you’re most interested in!
Free webinar: I’ve discussed my involvement with the New Jersey “Social Work Informed Library Services Project” in which Beth Wahler and I led trainings and developed handbooks* for public librarians hosting social work students at their branches. If you’d like to hear from the team of us involved in this pilot and learn some lessons about social work student internships at public libraries, join us on December 4th at 2pm for a webinar hosted by the National Library of Medicine. Even if you can’t make it, the recording will be available to those who register.
