Welcome!

Thank you for joining me.

About me: I am licensed social worker (# 083195) and an academic librarian. I teach an online, graduate course on Library Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s School of Information Sciences. Since 2017, the bulk of my research, instruction, writing, and consulting has centered on cross-disciplinary collaborations between public libraries and social workers.

What I aim to do here: Gather and provide a list of quality resources regarding the confluence of social work and public libraries. I post show notes and relevant links to accompany bi-monthly episodes to the new Library Social Work podcast.

Thank you,
